Rural Electric Economic Development

The REED Fund is a non-profit corporation created by the East River member cooperatives in order to offer financing for business, agri-business, infrastructure and community development projects that benefit rural areas.

The mission of the REED Fund is to support East River's member cooperatives in providing financing and helping leverage investment in communities and rural areas to make a difference in our region.

REED was formed in 1996 and is owned and governed by the East River member cooperatives serving eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota.
